Spring time is here

How does one know that spring has arrived in Reykjavík?? Well the migrating birds, the greenish colour that is starting to show on the trees and the odd daffodil in bloom are all tell tails of upcoming summer. But the definite sign that summer is lingering in the air are motorbikes. Motorbikes are a definite sign of summer in the winter only the toughest of bickers still dare to go out on their bikes. But as summer approaches they flock to the streets.










Annually on first of May the Icelandic motorcycle club Sniglarnir (The Snails) goes for a group drive around Reykjavík about 400 bikes participated in this event this time.
