We are moving to the darkest time of the year, so unlike the summer with the midnight sun we don't even have the midday sun for the next while. To make up for this we have plenty of heat and unlike other countries we don't just heat our houses when we are in, they are always warm and when the spring time hits we don't lower the heat we just open a window.

Iceland is such a contrast.

The geothermal pools are also mostly outside and they are just something else, the blue lagoon being the most famous of these phenomena.

As with all good cities Reykjavik has its share of international organizations, one of these is JCI, which is an international organization for young leaders and entrepreneurs. At the moment JCI Iceland is looking to form an international chapter. This will bring the international community in Iceland closer together for the benefit of both Icelanders and foreigners living in our amazing country.
