Iceland has one of the world's shortest rail road systems, in fact what you can see in these pictures is pretty much it ! There is one other engine like this one which is kept in a museum. So it is safe to say that Iceland’s rail system is only 5 meters, won't get you very far that.

The steam engine Minor
The steam engine was built in Jungenthal Bei Kirchen in germany in 1892. It is 4.9 meters long, 3 meters tall and has a track of 90 cm. Fully loaded it weighs 15 tones. The steam engine minor came to the country March 9th 1913 with other equipment to build a harbor and is the first steam engine in Iceland, it was used for harbor construction until 1928.
