Today is still Thursday or as it was known back in the day: Thor’s day! And to celebrate the first Thorsday of BloggingReykjavik I have decided to add an experimental but quite nice picture. It is a 360 panorama shot of Laugarnes.
Back in the time after the Ice age and the sea was some 43 meters above what it is now this hill was sticking out of the ocean. It is formed by lava some 200.000 years ago and the view is quite impressive. Click the link to see the large version. Unfortunately I did not have a tripod with me so its not 100% perfect but you get the idea.
