This is part one of a photo essay on Statues in Reykjavik. There are quite a few "traditional" statues; you know the kind where dead dudes get their head cast in bronze for people to admire and the birds to do their pieces on.

It is an interesting fact that there is no female statue in Reykjavik. I believe that it is true, I certainly haven't seen anything disproving that.

This piece is called the unknown bureaucrat. Pretty neat piece
