It is official, according to the Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) of Iceland, we have moved from level one to level two. This means that all farm birds must be kept indoors, only authorized personnel can enter farms ( I wonder if infected birds have tried to disguise themselves as visiting humans to gain access??), no other animals can be kept with the birds (sorry Fido) and a number of other precautions. I do hope that we don't reach level three any time soon.
