Kleppur - The mental hospital

Kleppur is a part of the national hospital but was originally opened in 1907. Its location is quite beautiful down by the harbour, right next to IKEA and the shipping docks.

Einar MÃ¡r GuÃ°mundsson an Icelandic author wrote a beautiful book, that was in parts set in the Hospital, called Angels of the Universe, there is also a great film based on the book.
