Since I mentioned an artificial geyser in my previous post I decided to show you a real life geyser. About 2 hour drive from Reykjavik you will find a geothermal area witch is called Geysir after the most famous hot spring there, Geysir (the English word geyser is drawn from the name of this hot spring). Today Geysir lies dormant but a smaller geyser beside it named Strokkur is very active and sends it’s strokes to the sky regularly.
The empty crater
The water and steam boil up
Away it blows
